During the pandemic, Covid patients across the country faced acute shortage of medicines, beds, oxygen and ICU facilities. Most of them couldn’t even reach healthcare facilities due to non-availability of ambulances. Human Welfare Trust, under the aegis of Vision 2026 has been providing free healthcare in remote parts of the country, and has started free ambulance services in many towns of North India. Such a facility was recently launched in Lucknow.
